Naylor, would be the other guy I met while I was deployed in Afghanistan. I was lucky enough to meet Naylor in his hometown of Arlington, Virginia. He came to visit me and the rest of my platoon in Fallujah during a trip to Iraq in 2007. We talked about our love for football and he gave me some stories about a teammate he had who loved to watch football. I was hooked. It was all I knew. I wasn't really sure what to do next.

The guy was the only one who didn't have his uniform on. He just had on a t-shirt and jeans. As we got out of the car, he said, "You know that's not normal." I knew then that I wanted this guy as a friend for life. He would stay out of my way because of his job, but I had to learn to take care of myself. After driving around for a bit, we started talking about my wife. We didn't talk about her at first. I just mentioned that she was a good woman, and he laughed. Then, I told him, "I love you and I want to marry you, but you have to let me be a soldier. I don't want to get in trouble for being in the military. I just don't want to be on my own anymore." He laughed even harder. I could hear it in his voice as he answered, "Oh honey I'll be a sergeant, I'll never leave." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The first thing I did when he told me he would be a sergeant was put a small metal plate on the table to stop him getting hit in the head when he was in the shower. He said that he didn't want to live the way he was without me. My heart ached. I single chat online knew he would make a great husband, but I didn't know how he would treat me as his wife. I didn't know if I should feel sad for him or angry at the world. I thought he was just being a normal kid, and he seemed like such a cool kid. But in retrospect, I can tell you that the day I said I loved him was the first time I felt real love and connection. We would play together having a boyfriend in the army all through high school. We would play games together. We would go out to movies, eat, and have fun together. That is, of course, until he came home one day and he was the same person I knew he was that morning before I saw him.

He said he was american single girls sorry for hurting me, and that he had decided to come home one day to take a long, long walk. I never heard from him again. They told me they found something in my eye. It was the same thing my dad had found the night before, except he'd never told me about it. So he just said, "you know what this is, just take the X-rays.
