It's been a while since I've been on a podcast.
There was a big reason for this. I really want to get this podcast started. It's an ambitious project. I want chatroom irani to get on the air and share my knowledge and experience with you all. I know a lot of people don't know who I am. They say I'm a "lonely geek", but they never knew how much I was involved in the military or what I did for a living. I've been a soldier for 13 years and have served at multiple levels, including two tours of duty in Iraq. I have been stationed in all five continents, including three deployments in Iraq. In 2009, I got my dream job. As tattooed guys a radio producer at KQED, I was the radio analyst in charge of a team of radio analysts. We were responsible for putting together the day's news and analyzing the results. This was my first day on the job and I knew what I was getting myself into. But it felt like I was in a dream, because I had never experienced anything like it. I was on my first tour of duty in Iraq. I was assigned to the radio analysts section. I was excited to hear my co-workers' voices on the air. But I was also apprehensive. I had been in radio before, but the atmosphere here prison pen pals georgia was more like that of the civilian world: no camaraderie, no camaraderie at all. My radio friends were very excited about Iraq. They were eager to share their knowledge and experience with the outside world. But I had also come to Iraq to get out of the war. It's the only thing that mattered. And I knew that I would be treated as a stranger. I had to be american single girls able to talk to people without being immediately seen as a soldier.
So I went about my business, and the radio crew, just like my friends, were equally nervous and excited to meet me. I was nervous because I wasn't used to people seeing me in my uniform. I had just come out as gay to my parents, and now that I had gone public, they couldn't even say anything to my family about it.
