"The Real Story of What Happened to a Latino Couple at the Border of Mexico and Texas" is the first ever published story by a Latina journalist and features an interview with one of the few surviving Latina veterans of the border patrol, "Gina" – a Mexican American soldier who served in the Border Patrol for american single girls ten years. "The Last Picture I Saw of My Uncle, a Mexican-American Border Patrol Agent" is a story by Maria Elena Cisneros, published in the New Yorker magazine. The story follows the lives of a Mexican-American father and his two sons. They are sent on a secret mission to investigate the disappearance of three American women, one of whom is an agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The series follows the lives of three men in border communities, who each try to figure out their place in the world, and discover who they truly are.

"The Day Before the Rain" was published in the Mexican-American newspaper The New Mexican and single chat online was written by Claudia Díaz-Rodríguez, and is a true story about two Mexican-American women who are sent to Mexico to find a man who is an agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I). In her story, she describes her life in the city of Nogales, Arizona, and her feelings on her experiences with men in this area. She has been deported from the United States for the second time. In the summer of 2012, when I was 18, my family moved from San Diego, California to Las Vegas, Nevada. As I told my father, "I am here to be a mother." I wanted my life to have a strong foundation from which to build upon. I had a good job, I was married and had a child. I didn't have thailand cupid dating a bad relationship with my father, but I did tattooed guys feel alienated from him. I did not feel a connection to the society he lived in. My mother's job gave me the opportunity to travel around the country and study the arts and sciences. She was a talented musician, a very talented poet, and an amazing actress. He was a self-centered, narcissistic, immature jerk. And I felt, to this day, that I am responsible for that.
The next thing I knew, I was at his funeral. I went to the family to remember my friend and to share the message from his family. I asked for them to share their message for his mother, who had passed away in October, and for his father, who had recently passed away from an illness. I wanted his friends and family to be here, and they did. I told them about all the things I had been going through as a result of that incident. And I was there for them. They had lost so much, and they were here.
In many ways, I felt like I was watching a TV documentary. This was a young man, who I thought might have been able to change his life through a little more education and therapy, but instead was caught in a cycle of violent crime and depression. His life became a story of self-destruction. I saw him at the end, when he having a boyfriend in the army was arrested and sentenced to six months in jail. This was when he finally got the attention he needed to change his life. I was able to stay and talk to the guy. He told me his story of how he ended up in jail and how it turned out he was not a criminal in the first place. We started talking and learning more about each other. He told me that he had to move out of his mother's house, that he did not want to be in that house because it was his mother's house, he wanted to move to the city to be able to get a better job, and he needed to do something about his drug addiction. He said he prison pen pals georgia wanted to get out of the house and go on the streets. My first thought was that this was probably why he was in jail, he had no job. I asked him if he could just go somewhere where he would get work. He said that he would get to the point where he had to find someone and he didn't want to do anything like that. We talked about how we both were from poor backgrounds, he had a criminal record and that the family didn't know what to do with him.
