The biggest thing I've found out is that the military is like a huge fraternity. We're all brothers, we all like each other, we all share the same goals and are very close, but you have to take a step back every once in a while. The military is different. It's an isolated community. We have our own rules. You have to respect and follow them. And you have to be prepared. And that means getting in shape. And when you're in the military, you can go for days on end. I can't imagine ever spending a week and feeling out of shape. So that's what I did. I started by working out four days a week, which was pretty intense. And I started by doing everything I was supposed to do: eating healthy, drinking water and taking a lot of vitamins. Then I went to the gym on Friday and went right back to sleep. And then on Monday morning I came in and I just laid there for like 10 minutes, because I was just so tired. I was exhausted. That was it. That was the first day of my new life. I was tired. Tired from all the work, all the stress, all the stuff that I had been doing for so long. It's like, the way I look is not something I can do anymore. I feel so guilty about it, and that's okay. I still have a lot of fun, but this is the hardest thing to get used to. I feel like I just gave up a huge part of my life to be an officer, and then I end up being so uncomfortable with myself, and the way I look, that it makes me want to give it all up. That's when the real work begins. I've been in the Army for a year now, and my friends in the civilian world all have a lot more things to work through with their own problems than single chat online I do. This is something I do my best to deal with, but it's not as easy as it sounds, and I need you to be here to help me with it. I've decided that I am going to start looking to find more girls.
