When you meet "the military guy" it usually comes down to the fact that he's been in a war and knows how to get things done. It is not uncommon for him to have already learned the best way to do things. In fact, this rule can be a little hard to adhere to at times, because some people just do not have the same level of experience that you do. And, if they don't have experience, you'll most likely still end up working with them because you enjoy the work.
