I was in the army in the Royal Canadian Navy as a crew-member and on the ship "C-17", (aka "SuperCadet"), from February 2009 to May 2011. My experience in the navy is quite a bit different than my experience in the army, as my last deployment involved a very long, stressful and intense year of training, with all of the new and very difficult aspects of war. I came to Canada to study Business, and as you might know, many things in the military are very complex, and require you to constantly adapt to new skills, concepts and rules in order to function effectively in the very complex world. There were times that I got pretty excited, thinking about all the cool things that I could do with the plane. And it did have a couple of serious shortcomings, including the poor fuel consumption of the airplane, and a limited ability to get into the weather.
