A few months ago, I wrote about a few dating issues in the military, and in my article, I described the process of discovering a military romantic partner. The military dating scene is quite active and dynamic. The "majors" (i.e. the "colonies") of the United States have two dates of interest to them: graduation ceremonies and marriage ceremonies. When these two happen together, it can be really fun, but it's not always the same day. This year, I've chosen to write about graduation ceremonies, as well as the upcoming marriages. You can see a lot more information on the respective dates in the chart below. (The year is a little off; I apologize for that.) The wedding date is generally the day after the graduates have graduated. The wedding will typically be held on a Friday, which is the same day as graduation. I've been married twice, so this isn't as much of a problem. However, I think it does add to the confusion. The first wedding was in 2001. It was a large affair, with tattooed guys lots of people, and it was in the middle of the winter. The bridal shower was held the day before graduation, so we didn't have much time to do our own. I don't think anyone took any great joy in this. In 2006, I had a wedding. It was a very simple affair, just two friends getting married. The wedding was in late June, and we had only two weeks to decorate, so we had the entire month to get it together. We put it together as a family, and it was the most fun thing I have ever done. It really is that simple. We spent thailand cupid dating hours on end doing what was necessary, and it was all done at my mother's house. That was our first formal engagement, and we knew we wanted to get married. When I first got married, my wife and I had just found out we were going to be getting married. We were both shocked and overwhelmed. As soon as I put on my wedding gown, we walked down the aisle. The ceremony was wonderful. It was also the first time we got to meet the bride. We didn't get to hug or kiss her, but the whole ceremony was beautiful. When we arrived to the ceremony, we were escorted to the altar by our parents. They were really supportive of us, and that made our day. When we got into the church, we were given a welcome mat by the priest and we were introduced to everyone. We were then led to the altar where we were to stand, and I noticed that there was something in the way of the priest. The man who we got married to was wearing a military uniform. He single chat online took a couple of steps back, as if to say "Hey... we need to talk." We didn't say anything. The priest stood next to us for a minute and asked if we'd like to kiss. We did. He looked a bit stunned and a bit confused, as if we'd all just walked in on some kind of religious ceremony. I felt a little guilty because I was not a priest. I didn't know how to approach him. I felt like a little slut. I looked at my date and asked her if she wanted to make out. He did. But I had to wait a while because we had to go outside. I think I was supposed to ask him if he wanted to go out, but I just kept thinking that was weird.
