The Diversification Of The Military

The Military is now a diverse place and it's the single men of this country who are being impacted the most by it. According to a survey conducted in 2015 by The Department of Defense, almost two-thirds of active-duty servicemen and women said they were currently single. That same year, the percentage of men in the military that were divorced hit a record high of 17.5 percent and the same percentage of women, 16.7 percent.

A recent Army study found that just 7 percent of all combat units had at least one gay, lesbian or bisexual soldier, a figure that has remained essentially the same since 2006. The survey also found that the overall number of female members has grown by 5 percent since 2006 and the number of men has grown by 8 percent.

These statistics have prompted some to wonder just what these men are up against. According to a recent survey by the Military Times, only tattooed guys 4 percent of the respondents said they had ever been the target of a romantic attempt. This suggests that this is more an issue of the military community being in a place of isolation from one another and not a result of anything outside the gay men and lesbians who choose to serve in it. So what's going on? In addition to their own challenges, some military women also have a lot on their minds that they are simply not being asked about. In fact, one in four military women is an active duty combat veteran, a figure that has increased over the last five years and is now a third higher than it was in 2010. A similar increase is reported in terms of sexual having a boyfriend in the army orientation among soldiers as well. But this is not just about sexual orientation and the sexual assault issue, there are a lot of issues that are going on with this population of soldiers. According to the Military Times report: "The issue has gotten so bad that some commanders are openly discussing their feelings with each other. 'You can't tell me this is acceptable anymore because I want chatroom irani my guys to take care of themselves, said Gen. Mark Welsh II, who single chat online commands the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky. 'We are no longer a boys club.' " (Source: The Military Times, 1/13/2015) The reason for this is that while the male military has a high rate of sexual assault, the problem is prison pen pals georgia so pervasive that not only does it not get the same media coverage as the rape of black men by whites and men, but it is not covered on either the MSM, in the school system, or in mainstream media at all. It is because this kind of violence happens at so much younger and less educated ages than the black males raped by whites and men. This is another aspect of the issue. What is interesting is that the "white male military" that is the focus is actually white men who don'thing but want to defend this country. They don't even bother with the fact that this kind of abuse is an ongoing problem, a fact that they don't want anyone to see. This is the very reason that the military has been so reluctant to tackle this issue: they know they are not on the same level as the black males whose rapes are covered so often. And so it continues, and the black males still have not stopped raping women, and it is still not enough to stop the violence and murders. It is hard to talk about these things, but there is something in this, something about the way black males are treated. There is something about how society has not caught up with the fact that black males are an endangered species, that they thailand cupid dating are more vulnerable to rape and murder than they are to most whites, and that a black male's life is worth less. The story of the black male is the story of how society fails black men and how the world continues to treat black men like garbage. The black male story is not about the patriarchy or the violence of white men, or even about black men killing black women. It is a story of how society treats black males as american single girls if they are the most despicable and despicable people there are, and how black men continue to rape and kill women because that's how black males were treated when they were younger. That's all there is to it. It is hard to talk about these things, but there is something in this, something about the way black males are treated. There is something about how society has not caught up with the fact that black males are an endangered species, that they are more vulnerable to rape and murder than they are to most whites, and that a black male's life is worth less. The story of the black male is the story of how society fails black men, and how we continue to be racist, oppressive, and ignorant, and yet still keep telling ourselves that we are the good guys.

If you are a white man and you're reading this, I hate to break it to you, but white men still have a long way to go in the face of systemic racism. They're the ones who have to make the tough decisions about whether they want to go live in a neighborhood where a large majority of the population is a black man, and if they do, how do you know that you can live with them and make a life for yourself that is safe and secure? It's not like black males are exempt from the same sort of systemic racism that white men have to deal with all the time. To all the black males out there who feel guilty about dating black women, don't.
